Everything you need to know about the membership

What services are included in my membership?

Your No Copay Medical Care membership includes primary care, urgent care, wellness, mental health and telemedicine visits with no copay/no deductible at any of the independent participating partner clinics. Mental health visits are included up to 12 per year per member. Simply make an appointment by phone, through the app, or the online portal.

What is NOT covered by the membership?

This membership is not insurance. It does not cover hospitalizations, surgeries, specialist visits (though clinics can provide referrals), prescriptions, lab work sent to outside labs, imaging for non-acute conditions, emergency room visits, or any care received outside the participating partner clinics. Note: Basic lab work processed in-clinic and X-rays for acute injuries ARE included.

Is this health insurance?

The No Copay Medical Care membership is a healthcare membership program, not insurance. It gives you direct access to primary care, urgent care, mental health, wellness, and telemedicine visits at participating independent healthcare providers with no copays/no deductibles. We recommend maintaining health insurance for prescriptions, hospitalizations, emergencies, surgeries, specialist care, and other services that are not covered by this membership.

Are there any hidden fees or copays?

No hidden fees. Your flat monthly membership fee covers all included services at independent participating partner clinics. You’ll never pay a copay or deductible for covered visits. Services outside the membership (prescriptions, lab work sent to outside laboratory companies , advanced imaging, etc.) will have additional costs. Services outside the partner clinics are not covered and will be paid 100% by the member.

Where can I use my membership?

All medical services are provided by independent healthcare providers, not No Copay Medical Care. Your membership is valid at our 48 independent participating partner clinics across Texas. They are located throughout Austin, Beaumont, Nederland, Houston, Lake Jackson, and San Antonio. All services received outside these locations are not covered.

Can I add family members to my plan?

Yes! The Family plan ($129/month) covers members, spouses and children only, with a maximum of 8 family members total. Each covered family member must be in the same household as the primary member. The individual + one membership ($99.month) can cover the member/spouse or member/1 child. Children can be covered from ages 0-25.

How does telemedicine work?

The telemedicine service allows you to speak with the clinic’s on call physician, 24 hours a day. Simply book an appointment through the app, by phone or through the online portal. Telemedicine visits are included in all No Copay Medical Care membership plans with no copays.

What is your cancellation policy?

You are not committed to a contract and can cancel anytime.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the prepaid period. No partial refunds are provided. Memberships are prepaid for the next month and automatically renew on the 1st of each month. If you decide to cancel you must do so before the 25th of the month to guarantee cancellation by the 1st of the next month.

When will my membership start?

All memberships begin on the 1st of the next month and are prepaid. If you want your membership to start earlier, you have the option to pay an expedite fee of $69 to have the membership start within 3 business days.

You will pay your membership fee when you sign up and it will provide membership for the next month (unless you are paying for the expedited membership). For example, if you join on the 15th of January, you will pay on January 15th and your membership will start February 1st. The next payment would be due on the 20th of February and it would pay for March membership, etc.

If you are signing up anywhere from the 28th to 31st of the month, please note, it generally takes 3 business days(Monday-Friday) to get your membership active. It will be active as close to the 1st of the next month as possible.

How does recurring billing work?

After the initial month, memberships are prepaid by debit/credit card/bank account draft on the 20th of each month for the next month’s membership.

If the payment on the 20th fails and we do not receive a valid payment by the 25th, your membership will be cancelled.
